Masterclass with Gabriele Leporatti

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, the day following the International Anton Rubinstein Piano Junior Competition, an exclusive masterclass with Prof. Gabriele Leporatti will take place. The masterclass is designed for young pianists and advanced students who wish to further develop their artistic maturity, stylistic depth, and interpretative clarity. Prof. Leporatti works intensively on sound aesthetics, musical structure, and individual expression, offering a profound and internationally informed pianistic approach. Praised by critics for his passionate playing full of aesthetic refinement and depth, Gabriele Leporatti was born in Italy and is now based in Germany. He graduated at the age of 19 from the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence with summa cum laude. His further studies brought him to work with world-renowned pianists such as Fabio Bidini, Maria Tipo, Jerome Rose, and Joaquín Achúcarro. He is a special prizewinner of the Bremen Piano Competition 2003 and a recipient of the Dorothy McKenzie Award in New York. His concert career includes solo recitals and chamber music performances throughout Europe, South Africa, China, Turkey, and the USA, appearing in prestigious venues such as Wigmore Hall London, the NDR Small Broadcasting Hall in Hanover, and He Luting Hall in Shanghai. Since 2012, he has been Professor of Piano and Head of the Piano Department at the Anton Rubinstein International Music Academy in Düsseldorf, and is widely sought after as a pedagogue at international masterclasses.

Masterclass with Prof. Ilja Scheps

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, an exclusive piano masterclass with Prof. Ilja Scheps will take place at the Beethoven Conservatorium in Tegelen. The masterclass is designed for young talents and advanced pianists who wish to further develop their musical interpretation, technical mastery, and artistic expression.

Under the guidance of an internationally renowned pianist and pedagogue, participants will receive valuable insights into stylistic interpretation, sound culture, and the development of an individual artistic voice. Each active participant will receive one individual lesson with Prof. Ilja Scheps.

This masterclass is offered in connection with the Piano Junior Competition 2026 and is open to both competition participants and other interested pianists. Whether you are preparing for the competition or seeking artistic growth through expert mentorship, this course provides an excellent opportunity for focused musical work and in-depth professional feedback.
